Season of DreamsWhether in town, in a business meeting or on a tropical beach, the summer wardrobe according to Paule Ka is a dream: fabrics,textures, colors meet somewhere between all the wanders of the imagination, inspired by an ideal safari trip to live freely every day:crepe or colored silk caftans are made for every hour, knee-length skirts are cut in tobacco leather... While earth and desert shadesare twisted with unexpected details, while safari jackets, trench coats and large pants borrow their codes from the militarycloakroom: stitches, multiple pockets, gold buttons and metal buckles. Oversized flowers, animals and palm trees happily matchtheir colors and prints over short dresses or chic summer coats. New proportions have been given to a simple t-shirt dress or toPaule Ka's iconic trapeze dress, so easy to live in and to accessorize.





With this spring-summer 2017 pre-collection, Alithia Spuri Zampetti wanted to explore one of the most natural fabrics, in a new exercise in style, the cotton. Turning it into a thousand and one summer looks, suitable for all occasions, she has created a complete wardrobe. A wardrobe consisting of gauzy blouses and tuxedo shirts, elegant jackets, skirts and soft pants, whoseprints and safari or jungle-like jacquards have been specially developed in three dedicated factories in Como (Italy).






Plain, textured or printed cottons allow for every variation: from a popeline with a taffeta hand, to a sculptural cotton inspired by men's tailoring canvas, reworked for a soft touch, to broderie anglaise, denim, tricotine and printed voile, and even a washed linen embellished with Lurex, all these types of high summer essentials have been twisted with a couture finishing. Volumes are the natural answer to this cotton couture inspiration: wide gathered skirts are worn with day or evening tops, whether it is a T-shirt, a shortcut blazer, a bolero or a tuxedo jacket.






Longer dresses are a bold mixture of bright colors and materials. Two majestic dresses, one blush pink silk, the other sienna ottoman, are each cut from a single lenght of fabric. For the evening, two-tone drape dresses appear almost liquid, thanks to a long scarf crossing the body and punctuating the pace. This collection is definitely an invitation to the leisurely life of summer,with lagoon colors, saffron and fruit cocktails that remind of the Fiji Islands.
