The Qode Celebrates at The St. Regis Dubai

The Qode celebrated its 7th anniversary in spectacular style with its annual 'season opening party' this year at The St. Regis Dubai's grand Astor Ballroom in Al Habtoor City.To mark this milestone, the luxury PR, Digital and Events agency teamed up with UNICEF and launched a silent auction to raise funds for children with emergency needsacross the Middle East.

 

"We wanted to make this year's party meaningful," said Ayman Fakoussa, Managing Partner.  "We hadall these lovely people gathered in one place, so we decided toleverage this to make a difference in the lives of so many children in the region who desperately need our help".  Funds were raised through a silent auction managed by Sixteen 10, and itemsdonated by The Qode's clients including St. Regis Dubai, Berluti, Sephora, Suzanne Kalan, Philipp Plein, Maison Des Fleurs, The Rug Company, Prismologie, Katsuya, Nadine Kanso, Moda Operandi, The Odd Piece and Clinique La Prairie amongst others.

 

The occasion, which traditionally inaugurates Dubai's social season after the long summer hiatus saw VIPs, media, clients and partners descend on the incredibly luxurious Astor Ballroom in The St. Regis Dubai.  Guests indulged in delectable food prepared by Chef Vincent Francis and his culinary team along withdeliciousBelvedere infused cocktails flowed into the early hours.

 

 

 

Guests were welcomed by hostesses from Allure Agency, after which they were transported to the glamour of Versailles looking up at the hanging floral arrangements beautifully provided by Garden Villa Flowers. ACE Star Sign Manufacturing elegantly executed the event, lighting & sounds were provided by DLC, and Mint Events supplied the furniture.

 

One of the evening highlights was the enchanting performance by dancers dressed in the style of Marie Antoinette organized by Dan Bolton and Danny Lee. Adding spice to the night was one of Dubai's hottest DJs, Patchouli as well as the award-winning Layla Kardan, whose incredible voice filled the room with an explosive energy. The eventwasartistically photographed bytalented and skillfulTony Belot, Nick England and Farooq Salik.

 

"We are so grateful to all those who were so generous to support the event this year - we were truly overwhelmed by everyone's generosity," said Dipesh Depala, Managing Partner.  "We really look forward to this night every year, as it is a chance for us to celebrate with our clients and media friends and of course thank them for supporting usover the years."Proceeds from the event will be going to UNICEF's 'No Lost Generation' Initiative to assist children caught up in crises in the region to continue their education. This program provides millions of children with access to psychosocial therapy, safe learning and play areas; and the leadership opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
