The Chopard boutique located at Mall of the Emirates has re-opened its doors with the brand's new boutique design concept developed by the renowned architect Thierry W. Despont.
A new global concept
The 92 sqm boutique exhibits the brand's new design concept designed by the famous French architect Thierry W. Despont for all new Chopard boutiques or re-openings worldwide.
Warm, intimate atmosphere
Light-toned wood (white oak), opulent leathers, silk and precious velvet: Thierry Despont has chosen to maintain the plush, comfortable charm of the former boutiques, while modernising it to create the feeling of visiting a beautiful private home with well-defined areas accommodating high jewellery creations, watches and accessories. He has done so while focusing on a sense of intimacy conducive to enable customers to stroll around the stores in a relaxing manner. Each detail of these points of sale has been thought through in conjunction with Caroline Scheufele, Co-president and Artistic Director of Chopard, who said: "With these new environments, we want to encourage our clients to discover the multiple facets of the Chopard universe."
Having acquired a larger sqm area, the refurbished Chopard boutique has an exclusive VIP room where it welcomes selected guests and invites them to enjoy the beauty of all Chopard Collections for ladies and gents, including exquisite jewelry, high jewelry and timepieces creations, in a private and relaxing ambiance.
This outstanding boutique is located on the first floor of Mall of the Emirates, the mall being one of the leading shopping malls across the Middle East. Comprising a five-star hotel and offering a close proximity to Downtown, Mall of the Emirates features more than 500 international brands, more than 700 stores and hosts the Middle East first indoor ski resort and snow park.
Chopard Co-Presidents Karl-Friedrich Scheufele and Caroline Scheufele are proud to announce the refurbishment of this boutique and its re-opening in Mall of the Emirates, remaining one of the main shopping destinations for luxury brands' aficionados in the UAE.
On the same note, Mohammed Seddiqi, Chief Commercial Officer of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, stated: "The re-opening of this boutique in a bright new light falls under our long-term commitment towards the brand's development in Dubai, goal towards which we strive continuously throughout our network of 7 Chopard boutiques".
A constant expansion
The first Chopard boutique was opened in Hong Kong in 1983. By 1998, there were just 15 points of sale. Since then, brand development has steadily accelerated. The Chopard Group is currently represented in 130 countries through 1,600 points of sale and 159 dedicated boutiques, located in the world's major capitals and in the finest shopping centres.
