A pioneer in the dining scene, Food Fund International has announced expansion plans across the region and The Kingdom of Bahrain. Current venues, located at the popular upbeat Adliya neighborhood, have already become a firm favourite, and new concepts opening around the same area, are set to take guests on an epicurean journey.

Attic, which opened its doors in 2017, is located in the heart of Bahrain's capital. The Greek-inspired interiors and menu introduced an all-new experience with traditional elements fused with modern accents. The venue exudes a home from home feeling, with wood beams and details, creating a sophisticated and relaxing ambience. The outdoor terrace offers stunning views of Manama, making it the perfect setting for lunch and dinner during the cooler days. Guests can expect imaginative beverages, savoury dishes and a warm, welcoming hospitality, in addition to live music and a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.

Over ten years ago The Meat Co made it's way to Bahrain, bringing with it the best steaks in the city and the vibrant welcome we know in the UAE. The huge three-storey building towering impressively over the centre of Adliya, offers the dining scene an easy-going dining experience combined with high quality food and an open air rooftop for those cooler days. The venue does also cater to vegetarians and pescetarians, with an ample selection of sides and sauces to suit their palate.

Set to open in September 2019, in new development The Terminal, in Adliya Bahrain - Clay is a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese culture know as Nikkei. The newest concept will occupy the top floor of the modern development with views of the Bahrain skyline. The design, as well as the menu will combine elements of both cultures to create a contemporary main dining space, a bar and a lounge featuring beautiful handmade Peruvian clay details and a hand painted Japanese inspired bar.

The Grilll Shack brand will expand into Bahrain around late August this year, shaking up the original concept in Dubai to fit the new licensed venue. The menu will remain steaks, ribs and burgers at its core, but with a few new additions to fit the customer demographic. The two storey venue will be split, with a more family friendly, casual dining atmosphere downstairs and a purpose built bar upstairs serving craft hops and creative cocktails.

"This phase is very exciting for us, as we announce our new restaurants in Bahrain, a country that welcomed around 10.3 million tourists in 2018, an increase of 6% from previous year, according to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism", says CEO of Food Fund International, Johnny Tomazos. "With the Saudi Arabia 2030 vision, we see potential of introducing food and beverage venues to the market in the next coming year, and with close proximity to Bahrain, the visitors from Saudi will already get a sneak peek and taste of our award winning culinary offers", he added. "It is great to have the opportunity to be part of The Terminal development, expanding The Grilll Shack brand and creating our very first Nikkei concept not only in Bahrain, but in the group."
