Al Thuriah Properties, the UAE's premier property developer that specializes in high-rise residential towers and communities, has announced its plans to construct a new tower in Sharjah.

The announcement comes after the developerrevealedithas completed 50 per cent of the construction of Sahara Tower 6 and sold all 33 of the three-bedroom apartments as part of its recent CityscapeGlobal promotion, which saw the 33 apartments discounted by AED333,000 to cost buyers AED1 million per apartment.

Due to high demand at Cityscape Global, Al Thuriah Propertiesis now negotiating with other investors on the sale of all existing units in Sahara Tower 6.

Raymond Khouzami, CEO of Al Thuriah: "The real estate market in UAE remains solid and has many investment opportunities. This has been demonstrated by the high turnout of visitors to our pavilion at Cityscape Global and the high demand for direct sales during the event, which marked the first timein Cityscape's history that event attendees could buy directly from exhibitors in accordance with the rules and regulations of the local authorities in which the developer operates."

He added: "We're pleased to announce that Al Thuriah Properties has sold many of theresidential units in Sahara Tower 6, which comprises two adjacent high-rise towers with 39 and 21 floors respectively. To date, the total sale of units in the tower, which costs around AED450 million to construct, has exceeded 80 per cent of total units. This is a clear indication that the real estate market in Sharjah is strong and robust, which has encouraged Al Thuriah Propertiesto launch another residential tower early next year."

Offering world-class amenities at affordable and attractive prices,Sahara Tower 6 includes 376 apartments spread across two towers. Each unit in the high-rise complex comes with two free parking spaces, with floor space starting at 2,240sqft, and all apartments are available for freehold ownership and comply with the laws and regulations in the emirate of Sharjah.

The completion of Sahara Tower 6 is scheduled for December 2019.
