KidZania® Abu Dhabi, the newest attraction by Emaar Entertainment at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, was buzzing with excitement as the interactive children's mini city celebrated its Foundation Day.

Hosted by radio presenter Kris Fade, the foundation ceremony highlights the contribution of KidZania® and its partners in helping develop an authentic learning environment.

The Foundation Day activities included special music and dance performances, anthems and flag raising. The ceremony also featured KidZania® ambassadors, eminent local business and marketing partners, investment partners as well as Emaar Entertainment representatives.

The Foundation Day ceremony was followed by the customary ribbon-cutting ceremony the subsequent day, officially opening KidZania® Abu Dhabi doors to kids and families of UAE.

Spanning over 55,000 square feet, KidZania® Abu Dhabi is a scaled down replica of a bustling city with over 60 role-plays of real-life professions offered for the little ones. By engaging in these jobs, the kidz learn about various professions in a fun, interactive manner, helping them to develop decision-making, teamwork, creativity and social skills.

Welcoming children aged one to 16 years, kids can explore activities including surgeons, firefighters, chefs, police officers, builders, models, actors, artists, radio hosts and more, making each visit a new and an exciting experience for all.
