Lebanese racer Georges Mokbel raised high his country's flag in Bahrain Supersport Championship, the championship run on identical Aprilia bikes. Mokbel has completed the championship as a Vice Champion after 6 consecutive rounds in a very close battle on points. Competing with contenders from all over the world including USA, UK, Australia, India, Pakistan as well as Bahrain, Georges Mokbel finished the championship with 6 podiums, 1x win, 3x 2nd place and 2x 3rd place.

Commenting on his well-deserved win, the Lebanese racer said he was planning to fight again in the following season, and raise again the Lebanese flag. It is worth noting that Georges Mokbel has recently opened the first superbike racing academy in Dubai, UAE.
